I am not a TWILIGHT fan, have read none of the books, but my daughter is, so we went to see the movie. What amazed me was the absolute lack of joy, happiness, or passion throughout the entire film. Later, someone told me that the books are rather dark and lacking in joy anyway, but I will not return to see a film that at no point made me smile in some form.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

My 10 year old daughter loved it. She laughed and giggled throughout the entire movie. I found it to have some funny scenes and some touching scenes, but at times the attempt at humor did not reach its goal. All in all, a nice early afternoon show!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
