I love vampire movies. The director should win an oscar. I love movies where actors show passion and feelings without having too much dialogue. And as true to form-- the Vamps were overwrought with emotions which i Love. The only negative was the father- the actor and character was flat as a cardboard-- everybody and everything in the movie was incredible.
Not having read the books, Yes it makes you want to go out and read the series.
Absolutely hated it. It was dark and too confusing. They also took away the vulnerability of Batman which was so good in the 1st movie. Half the time I couldnot understand Heath Ledger. Was he high during his scenes? The best part of the movie was Gary Oldman- he was great- complicated and understandable. I just hated it and didnt get it. Unlike Hancock, which i love and made sense and well developed characters and great acting.
