I couldn't believe the use of 3D. It is not overused and gimmicky for once (ie Jaws or Freddy's Dead 3D). The story is about a marine finding out who he is among a new world and unique surroundings. Action, romance and character development make for a perfect combination! This is a must see! Oh yeah, the effects are amazing too ;)

Excellent, I wish it was longer!

I loved the graphic novel and I never thought I'd see a movie correctly depict the scenes that I had in my head. I was extremely satisfied with the effects, story-line and plot development. There were only one or two non-key points which were left out, so I had the same feeling as when I finished the novel. The action scenes that played out like story panels were amazingly done and I couldn't imagine this could be improved upon. I am SUPER excited to see an un-cut/directors version and/or an alternate ending and can't wait for the Blu-Ray. It is what the Watchmen (and more super-hero movies) should be. I will be seeing it at least a few more times in theaters... especially IMAX again!
