Surprisingly Disappointed

As a nonreader of the books - for me the HP movies have progressively gotten better and each has left me with a greater desire to see the next. The HBP however was very disappointing. The end of HP5 ended with such a bang and left the impression that the HP world was on the brink of a full scale war between good and evil. HBP however felt like a 2-1/2 hour nap between HP5 and HP7 Part 1. It was very anticlimatic and most of the best parts of the movie are in the trailer. My wife saw it with me and she has read the book series multiple times - she was also very disappointed. She was especially disappointed about the omittance of the battle scene at Hogwarts. The only bright spots were the few laughs and the special effects.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
