Great movie- both 2-D and 3-D; and If ever a movie was made for 3-D AVATAR is IT!!!

Raw military action/fight scenes; truly fantastic animal chase scenes; plenty of heroes and heroins.some special tender moments to this "action" story. An excellent melancholy drama/comedy & social commentary.
Graphics and special effects added to the storyline- rather than distracted from the storyline- quite well.
Heard some critics complain Avatar is a bit 'political"; I say, 'so what?" No doubt as to the inference to American History- Western Expansion of Industrial American vs. the Native American Indian.

Other conflicts; Pursuit of corporate greed vs. pursuit of scientific knowledge; military imperialism vs. respect for human freedoms; the will of modern man vs. the Will of an ancient and transcendent God.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
