I do not go out to movies alot but I wanted to see this movie because it was directed by Clint Eastwood and Matt Damon was in it. I like movies with parallel stories that come together in the end. The movie did seem to drag a bit in the middle but all in all I really liked it. I was sort of disappointed that they did not delve into the hereafter more but I liked that Matt's character could talk to the loved ones that were gone. The movie was intense but not really heavy and dark. The more I think about it the more I like it.
I have not been to a 3D movie since I was a kid and it is hard to find words to describe what I felt. I am amazed as to how someone could create such wonderful images from the tree of life to the flying creatures to the helicopters and battle scenes. I cannot think of anything negative to say. It was wonderful to be able to experience this and escape from life for 2 hours and 40 minutes. I hope to see it again soon!
I have been a fan of the terminator movies from the very beginning mainly because I am a big Arnold fan. I love them all and this movie is no exception. Perhaps the story line was a little weaker than the previous movies but the special effects made up for it. The battle scenes and machines were awesome, espcially the motorcycles and the giant robot. I kind of missed Arnold but Sam Worthington was a very "hot" replacement. Of course Christiona Bale did a wonderful job as well...he is a great actor. I liked everyone in the movie. I was a little disappointed with the ending as it seemed to stop a little abruptly but overall I had a great time watching this movie.
