A chick flick for guys

I took my wife to The Proposal because I owed her a 'chick flick.' Light romantic comedy is never my first choice of a film. But I was drawn into the story and laughed my way from start to finish. The film was sexy, smart, the way it sets up 'the verses:' New York vs Alaska, MILF vs Boy Toy, Father vs Son, Big City Girl vs Country woman is first rate story telling.
Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds are both stars for a reason. Worth seeing on the big screen for the shots of Alaska alone.
