The beginning and end of the movie was really good. I believe that the part where they were in Alaska was too short - it didn't really her what his family was really like. She wasn't there when him and his father would get into an argument. It should have shown more family moments. Otherwise it was a really good movie. Would I pay to see it again -no, but I would rent the video.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
