Amazing effects, scary for young

This movie was breathtaking in theattention to detail and use of 3D and animation. It is the standard Christmas Carol, however, rather overdone for me, but worth seeing for the fabulous characters and artistic use of animation. My 7 year old was scared, since the ghosts were very realistic and in your face with the 3D. I would really say only OK for age 10 and above.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
