As the movie began I found myself wondering if they could pull this off without the familiar characters I have come to know and love. A bit of a rough start though you found yourself looking for a connection to their future self. The character of bones was extremely believable and was wonderful in its introduction and development and then his character disappeared for the most part until the last scenes. Action packed with digital imagery it keeps you intriqued till the end. My only complaint would have to be the tatooed Romulans. I wish they had kept them more true to the form we are familiar with. The best I would have to say is having the Spock we know. A must see for movie goers. Looking forward to a sequel.
