Worth seeing once in theaters

After all the hype I had high hopes for Alice. There were some fun parts and the graphics/visual effects were pretty cool, but overall the movie didn't leave me wanting more. I'm glad I saw it on the big screen for the visuals but probably don't need to see it again.

I was expecting good things based on good reviews, however I don't know if a cartoon movie has ever touched me in such a deep place before! I cried within the first 20 minutes! I think the real life situations are portrayed well enough without being overwhelming for the younger crowd.
I agree the dog Dug is the perfect comic relief to the sadder moments; he gives plenty of good oneliners my husband and are repeating over again for laughs!
