A lttle to heavy for young ones

This movie is fun , yet I feel it is a bit too sad for younger children. I think family movies like this should stay on the light side. There are some pretty sad parts in this movie. The end is a bit too strong natured as well. Since the boy , and his friend are under attack by the man trying to trap the bird , and return to America , no matter who gets hurt , or how. Children see enough truth in the real world. Lets give them the chance to see a movie with no sadness / killing because we all need a good 2 hour laugh at the movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
