While the story is sweet and many of the interections between the characters are enjoyable, this movie is a self-indulgent excuse for Apatow to show off his famous friends and give his wife and kids 60 minutes of screen time. The story lacks focus, it's about 30 minutes too long, and except for some of the banter between Rogen and his roommates, it really isn't very funny. Sandler in particular looks like he's phoning it in. Dissapointing overall and not worth your money.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
