Managed to see Avatar at the IMAX in 3D! Wonderful experience. We saw the midnite show (all other showtimes were sold-out). I thought I'd fall asleep, but I was captivated from the time the movie started. My 9 YO son was with me. In my opinion, the violence in a few scenes was a bit heavy kids. Be sure to research the rating thoroughly.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
