Beautiful Filmmaking

Up has some of the most perfect moments I have seen in any recent film, animated or otherwise. The characters are well-defined and beautifully animated, the plot is both moving and exciting and the relationship between Carl and Russell is very sweet.
This is a true family movie with something for everyone, but small children will miss some of the backstory and emotional depth, and one small child screamed in fright during an action sequence at our showing.
Everybody should watch Up--you will not be disappointed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
