This movie was everything (funny, touching, high action) without trying too hard. There's something to appeal to everyone in the family. Our three boys (9,7, and 3) loved it as did my husband and I - all for different reasons. The scenes at the beginning that chronicle his life to date are very touching just set to music. Throughout the story, there are scenes that touch the parental heart. Our boys loved the action and the interaction between Kevin and Russell. Very family appropriate. One of the rare movies we'll eventually own.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
