Book readers should wait for the rental counters.

I heard from a few people that this movie was better than The DaVinci Code so I decided to go see it in theaters even though I had read the book recently. I would suggest that anyone else who has read the book should wait for this movie to come out on DVD before seeing it. It's not worth the ticket price for seeing it in the theater because some of the best parts of the book were left on the editing room floor. There's no chemistry between the two main characters and many of the twists & turns that made the book so impossible to set down were lost in Hollywood. Overall it was entertaining but if I had to choose again, I'd probably go see Star Trek instead.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
