Have you ever felt like the people who made the movie you're watching ran out of time or money, like they had to speed up the production process to make deadlines?
Although quite visually striking with excellent sound effects and editing, Terminator Salvation lost sight of the whole. Unconvincing character dynamics, plot inconsistencies and an amalgam of epic cliches send us on a bumpy ride to-- wait who the heck is that guy and why is he talking funny?
It's McG's fault, and though I wasn't expecting more from the director of such poignant masterpieces as Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle and We Are Marshall, the Terminator people could've found someone with a little more pedigree to bring the franchise back from the dead. **
