A truly magnificent production of the Iconic Star Trek genre. Perhaps it should be Star Trek, The New Generation, the casting was excellent, the story line captivating, and the bringing of some of the best loved television/movie characters into their new relationships. The young cast, including veterans Ben Cross (Sarek) & Bruce Greenwood (Captain Pike), have made a truly memorable tribute to William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelly, Nichelle Nichols, James Doohan, George Takei, Walter Koenig, Mark Lenard & Jeffrey Hunter & of course gene Roddenberry.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
