I was not totally sure how good this movie would be. Could a brand new cast of actors stay true to our beloved TOS while establishing themselves in our hearts? The answer is YES.
I've seen it 3 times and enjoyed it more each time.
Developing an alternative time line plot, protects Trek history and gives us new possibilities.
The one thing I did not like about the movie was the sound track. Maybe I'm just to much an old time Trekkie, but it just didn't have the power, energy and wonder from the preceeding soundtracks.
Overall feeling: I'm 16 again and discovering Star Trek for the first time. It restored my dreams and hopes for the future. It restored my feeling of adventure in my journey through life.
