I took my 6 year old. He didn't seem to laugh at the funny parts. I didn't either. It was a little boring. The only thing worth seeing, I thought, were the little minions and the youngest girl. She was cute and funny. I took my son during a matinee show so I didn't feel too bad spending too much on such an "alright" movie. I'd rather go see Karate Kid again!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Best Movie Ever...in 3D as well!!!

Avatar has it all. It's such a great all around movie. Saw it in the Museum style 3D stage and it was totally awesome. I love all the characters, even the bad ones because they make the movie really good. Visual effects and sound was very well done. The actors played their part well, and I'd go see the sequels to ALL future Avatar movies! Count me in.
