While I was a devotee of the TV version of Star Trek, I am not usually thrilled to go and see a shoot 'em up action movie these days. The new Star Trek was an exception. I wanted to see what current visual effects capabilities could add to this movie and I was pleasantly surprised.
I nearly rose from my seat, fleeing from too much excitement. Thankfully, every fearsome scene quickly morphed into another and I rode the rollercoaster of quick action..
I found myself reinvesting in new actors in old beloved roles. This movie is a must for all ages above about 12 years of age. I totally enjoyed the experience.
