Star Trek the future begins

Young crew, imaginative story line, and lots of explosions. As a fan of the Original Star Trek, yes, I own all the episodes, and movies up to this one, I enjoyed this prequel McCoy & Scotty were dead on; Spock was excellent. Uhura stunning visually, but not the reserved elegance of Nichell Nicols. Kissy face with Spock ? REALLY! Too few scenes with Nimoy .Good casting for Sulu and Chekov, Weakest portrayal: Jim Kirk. We all still love Star Trek, but don't ruin a good thing with more prequels; (remember Star Wars) I recommend this film for 7-8 out of 10. Best ensemble cast still the original. Live long and Prosper
