Good not Amazing

I don't see what was so amazing about it. I like it. It was definitely a good movie in that it has some interesting ideas, a good plot with few holes, convincing acting, but I didn't see what makes it an A movie. Maybe this is because I have no previous experience with Star Trek and so, if I had, I might further appreciate what was accomplished in this film, how this may have stayed true to the story and presented itself as a more than worthy prequel. Nonetheless, It is a fun ride that is different from the typical Hollywood action movie in good ways. I recommend it, and especially in IMAX.
