don't waste your money

i cheated and read the reviews on rotten tomatoes before going to the theater so i had low expectations to begin with. also, of particular note, i watched the expressions of the movie-goers leaving the theater before my showing started and everybody had a disappointed wtf look on their face. i should've known better.
here's my my two main complaints:
wooden acting with christian bale droning out the same performance as he did in his two batman movies.
plot holes galore leaving you to ask "what did they actually accomplish?" i'm still wrestling with that.
if it weren't for the special effects i would've given this dud one star but at least it had eye candy going for it.
if you have to see it, wait for it to come out on dvd or bluray.

No, I do not recommend this movie.
