Star Trek shines

Star Trek is everything a trekker could want: superb writing and casting, infusion of comedy, characters who are not afraid to show their strengths as well as their weaknesses, and many touches of the old and familiar lovingly tucked into a perfect package. One does not have to be a fan to relish this wonderfully entertaining movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
