Loved the characters Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty and even Chekhov & Sulu.
Not impressed with the romance between Spock and Uhura- that seemed contrived.
Provided good backgroud clarification, great special effects- but some aspects not believable.
Wouldn't that much red matter blow up the entire universe? I am no Stephen Hawking, but that seemed off balance. And the whole idea of Vulcan being destroyed- I guess that will be rectified in another time-travel adventure in the sequel. Good Grief!
