D9 makes you think. It requires the viewer to think about how we discriminate against each other and how we might do the same to an alien species. It is sad that this movie might truely represent our reactions to alien species.
My ribs were hurting with so much laughing in this movie. The audience was also laughing with me. It is everything that could happen in Vegas. It shows that friends that stick together will sometimes get out of a big jam.
It was a great movie, but it had some issues. It focused on the human-terminator more than the other characters. The story draws you to the terminator more than John Connor. It tries too hard to get you to know the other characters but it did not work. The pregnant woman gives you the impression that another movie is on its way just like the baby. It would be interesting if the baby was a terminator. Hmmm... something to think about.
It was a great movie. It is rare to hear clapping at the end of a movie. This one got applause from the audience. The revised characters are enjoyable and entertaining. There was much special effects, but what movie doesn't have effects. There was much action and tension with Spock and Uhura. This was a nice switch-up with the normal Kirk adventures.
