Another far-fetched fan-pleaser from Ron Howard and Tom Hanks. Admitedly, I haven't read the novel, but I can understand why its devotees would be upset by the film's loose allegiance to it. However, the movie does what movie's do. It entertains. And although you may tissue with some of the more outlandishly contrived plot elements, or with Hanks' familiarly bland performance, you still have an exciting thriller which is educational to boot. Dan Brown faithful beware, but otherwise, a decent film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
