I thought it was good, but not great. It's very different feel from the Wizard of Oz. It's more of an action film. But the 3D effect, the animation and special effects alone were worth it. They did overuse the 3D in-your-face effects, as the critics point out. I didn't identify with the characters as much as the Wizard of Oz. I don't think it will be a classic, but it was a good flick.

All of the old characters are back. The addition of Amy Adams as Amelia Earhart really put a romantic sparkle in this one. Amazing animation of all the characters.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
