Imax the best

This movie has stunning visuals that are enhanced greatly with 3D and IMax. If you have not seen it, see it first this way to get blown away.
Bring a clean cloth to keep the 3D goggles clean, and whatever you do use one hand for popcorn and the other to adjust the goggles.
Mine got smudged about 20 minutes into the movie and I could not get them totally cleaned.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I've been a Trek fan for years and for years those old star trek movies never garnered more than 4 stars for me. All that is changed this time around -- This is a 5 star all the way.

This movie is non stop action with enough detail for most long time fans. Sure some of the technical jargon and time line issues are a little off, but the story works and the characters are as true as you could hope to see.

Previous movies generalized their plots for non-fans -- This one did too, but it also included some great gems that long time fans will pick up on.

All in all the new cast did a great job. They held close to the personalities their characters and brought a lot of energy to the movie.
