Really enjoyed it, but had issues with the hollywood-ized combat and visual inconsistencies. Dumb things a successful guerilla fighter wouldn't do. (blind himself with a flare at eye level, ruining his night vision) Boulders visible in long shots magically disappear when marcus' body skips down the river. Explosions that don't effect ears and balance. Clothing and hair that remains unsinged by blasts and flames.
The heart donation was an unbelievable device I would have expected from a movie 40 years ago, before people were knowledgeable about tissue matching and rejection. You just can't ignore science when you write a science fiction movie. Good acting, mediocre writing/editing.
