I felt like the movie lacked overall depth and realism. While yes, this is a sci-fi, its unappealing to watch John Connor get mauled by a hulking metal terminator and be thrown across a room into a tank, only to fall 5 more feet land terribly then shake it off... and things like the metal terminators having on clothes... and hats...just left me thinking, 'why?' Then someone dropped acid and thought the character Marcus was a good idea... Terminator Salvation just didn't deliver a thick palpable greatness like it's predecessors
