Great Story and Action

My 27 year old son, his fiance, and I went to see ST in IMAX in Torrance, CA. We loved the movie; kept us engaged throughout and they were saying they loved it all through the movie. Lots of little jokes, great characterizations that stayed true to the series, and a story line that worked. Great special effects. The IMAX screen at Torrance didn't have the same effect as IMAX theaters I've visited in the past, but the movie played well. I was concerned with two bits of story line that I won't divulge here so as not to spoil anyone's fun, but that was explained with an alternate reality. Fun for everyone, especially Trekkies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
