I did read the book first and having said that I was wondering which movie I was watching. The movie ingeneral was very good, however so much of the background that was in the book was missing, relationships were even changed. SO much was made of what Vittoria was wearing in the book and in the movie it was a non issue. The ending was diferent as well from the book. I went with y daughter and she agreed it was a good movie but not what she was expecting either.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
