I did not go into this movie with high expectations for a clever plot or amazing acting. I was wrong about both - the story line is coherent and climactic and the actors, especially Christian Bale and Sam Worthington, are great. I am surprised that there are no large scale futuristic war scenes, but instead a picture of a desperate and severely weakened resistance is drawn, which adds to the overall atmosphere of the movie. And of course, there are plenty of references to the first three movies that alone would make this film worth seeing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
