Star Trek is back

After the failure of the 2002 movie I was thinking that Star Trek had run its course, and so I was a bit skeptical if there was really going to be anything in this film that would be worth watching. After seeing this film twice, I'd say that this movie is exactly what the Star Trek franchise needed to remain alive in the 21st century. One of the first things that caught my attention was the freshness of it all. The younger cast certainly adds a vitality and energy that is not seen in the previous star trek movies. The movie strikes a good balance between throwing in elements familiar to the old fans, as well as adding new elements as well. And the films strikes a good balance between action and storyline. Highly Recommend!
