Not as good as the hype... at all

Obviously the movie is OK IMHO as I gave it three stars (more like 2.5 stars)...but it was contrived, jumped the shark a number of times, and Bale's acting was deporable. This was Terminator -- not Batman right? He seemed stucked in a Batman alter ego.
On the positive side the visuals, the Marcus Wright character AND his acting were superb. The details and thought they put into creating the machines was very good-- and the motorcycle scenes were the very best parts of the movies. Wish they had more scenes like that.
In the end I wished I had waited for the DVD. I hear Star Trek is so much better from people who have seen both.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
