Having been a Star Trek fan since the beginning, I was skeptical about new actors and the modernization of characters that I have known and loved for years.
I was pleasantly surprised with the new actors . I think they did a good job of sticking with the spirit of each character. I got over a new Kirk and Spock after just a few minutes. By the time they got to McCoy I was looking forward to meeting each character all over again.
This isn't your parents Star Trek. It is not as pretty and clean as Star Trek in the past. In That's what makes this movie so good. .
Kudos to the cast and crew of this Star Trek. This is the best one yet.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
