Tom Hanks meets "24"

I hadn't seen the original movie in some time so I was wondering how much I'd have to dig into my memory in order to understand the first one. Thankfully, not a bit!
I thought this sequel was a great "stand-alone" movie... works all by itself!
The plot was basically a nod to Keiffer Sutherland and "24"... just substitute Tom Hanks and you can follow this movie just fine! Jack....err Tom, has only 4 hours to save the Vatican and the Catholic faithful from a deadly bomb!

Follow the action all over Rome as only Ron Howard can do!
Good paced, easy to follow, nice date movie! The gal was superfluous, I guess a nod to needing the female audience... if only it was "Cloie"! Lol!
Recommended highly.
