There's no doubt the imagery and cinematography were stunning. On the other hand, it's not anything you can't find on the Discovery Channel or similar venues. I'm not sure what I was expecting going in, but it didn't do much for me. C+
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Way Better Than I Expected

Took my 12-year-old daughter to this movie and frankly wasn't looking forward to it. Was very pleasantly surprised! Efron did a great job and is clearly going to be a formidable actor as he ages and grows. The only down side was Matthew Perry. His part should have been played by someone else. Overall a very good effort.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
