IF this was the only Star Trek you watched, OK. The premise of the movie is an Alternate Universe. Now anyone that does not like plot line of a Star Trek story can just present their version of an Alternate Timeline. This movie negates the entire Star Trek Timeline after Star Trek Enterprise. I was very disappointed in the ending of the movie. I presume it was done to allow a new story line without having to adhere to the original Star Trek Series, New Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
