A phenomenonal movie for old and new fans alike. For Star Trek lovers, this movie is the closest in spirit to the original series' vision of the future. The action and humor are well balanced for a fast paced flick. It is simply incredible visually. JJ and crew were also able to avoid using the advanced technology as a crutch to by pass storytelling or plot like most of the StarTrek extended universe has. My guess is that Gene R himself would be proud!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
