A NEW "TREK UNIVERSE"

Forget everything you know about the Star Trek Universe ... this movie changes all that. So, very likely there were never any troubles with tribbles nor a city on the edge of forever. Spock never returned to Vulcan when he went through pon-farr, and Sarek and Amanda never boarded the Enterprise in "The Journey to Babel." It's a new, altered time-line we're in with this latest movie. (I'm not really giving anything away as most die heard Trekies will know right off that things are happening which conflict with what we know about Kirk's relationship with his Father in the first 10 minutes). Perhaps the time-line will be repaired in the next one ... perhaps not. Either way, this is a truly excellent movie; suspenseful and humorous.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
