Almost Too Much...

From the start of this movie we're on a race against time. This can be a good mechanism when you're trying to jam a whole bunch of information into a movie from a very popular book, but for me it was almost too much. I wanted them to stop more and allow me to process what I'd just seen before they moved on. That didn't happen very often. I didn't read the books so I can't speak to the comment I've heard that Tom Hanks was wrong for the role. I'm grateful Ron Howard was at the wheel of this 'out of control' bus though, he did a very good job of getting through it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
