The singers' performances are stellar and the orchestra sounds amazing. I would go see it again myself, if that were an option.
I do recommend planning ahead on 2 points: first, the opening half hour of the opera feels aimless and there's little traction for the listener until the Letter Scene; and second, the Summer Encore broadcasts run the opera straight through, with no intermissions or behind-the-scenes footage, so definitely plan accordingly.
