I thought the movie was sort of good. Too much action and not enough premise. While reading the book is much better, the movie was kind of a disappointment. As one other viewer stated. The sites of Rome were wonderful and being privy to the sistine chapel and the workings of electing a pope were inciteful, I think this wonderful "book" was made into a "hollywoodland" action movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
