Very exciting movie!

Of all the sci-fi movies I've seen this is the first to keep me on the edge of my seat since Return of the Jedi. The action was fast-paced and exciting from start to finish. The base characters were very well cast. None of them could be classified as over-acting or a mockery of the original cast. When Leonard Nimoy appeared I actually started clapping. His appearance gave more realism to the movie and tied together the long-standing animosity between Vulcans and Romulans which I never quite understood. I had only been a fan of the Star Trek: Next Generation era, but this movie far surpassed First Contact which had been my favorite in the series. What a wonderful kickoff to the summer blockbusters! Live long and prosper.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
