Saw this film in IMAX, a must to get the full appreciation of the special effects. Movie is well written and faithful to the original series, but still can be viewed and enjoyed by non-trekkies as well. Both central characters Chris Pine Zachary Quinto very adaptly fill Shatner's& Nimoy's shoes.
Speaking of Nimoy it was a treat to see him on the big screen as Spock , and was glad to see that his role was an integral part to the story telling. Simon Pegg also does a great job of bringing the comic relief he is known for and for seen stealing.
Heartily, recommended this film to a friend who knows nothing about Star Trek...we will be seeing it, next weekend. I will gladly pay to see this gem again!
