Eclipse - A Movie to talk about

Great rendition of Stephenie Meyer's third book - Eclipse. Melisa Rosenberg did an exceptional job capturing the essence of all key scenes from the book and under David Slade's direction the photography and rythm of the trama worked very well. Fans of the Twilight Saga will not be dissapointed. Kristen Steward, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and the entire cast played their roles better than before as the story unfolds in this movie. We learn more about Jasper and Rosalie, as well as the Quilutes Indians. The story of the Newborn Vampires from their own perspective was a great introduction into the trama, providing new viewers of this Saga with a better understanding of S. Meyer vampire mythology. Loved the tent scene, but my favorite are the meadow scenes. Deciding the "best kiss" in the movie will depend on which team you favor (Edward or Jacob).

Good but not for purists

I was surprised with this new interpretation of Sherlock Holmes(SH), not what I expected at all. This SH is a super hero and the movie was definitely an action/adventure, so if the viewer is expecting to see the traditional and intelectual SH this is not the version to see. Overall the movie is good, great action, cinematography and special effects. My favorite effect was the portrayal of SH speed of thinking in the fighting scenes.

Great adaptation of the New Moon story. Melissa Rosenberg did a great job writing the screenplay, it paid for her to consult changes with S. Meyer and the fact that she kept the essence of the saga intact. I enjoyed the movie greatly and loved the ending. But I am a biased Twilight fan... I am curious to see what kind of exeperience new watchers may have.
